Supreme Iron Works, Inc is recognized as a leader in the structural steel and ornamental metal industry. Since being founded Supreme Iron Works, Inc has also grown into a highly-regarded fabrication shop sought out by project managers, contractors, architects, and designers who need intricate patterns and unusual shapes in a wide variety of metals.

Our custom iron works specialists have capabilities of fabricating using bronze, brass, and aluminum.

    Title 16, Division 8, Article 3. Classifications

    An ornamental metals contractor assembles, casts, cuts, shapes, stamps, forges, welds, fabricates and installs, sheet, rolled and cast, brass, bronze, copper, cast iron, wrought iron, monel metal, stainless steel, steel, and/or any other metal for the architectural treatment and ornamental decoration of structures. This classification does not include the work of a sheet metal contractor.

    Title 16, Division 8, Article 3. Classifications

    A structural steel contractor fabricates and erects structural steel shapes and plates, of any profile, perimeter or cross-section, that are or may be used as structural members for buildings and structures, including the riveting, welding, rigging and metal roofing systems necessary to perform this work.

    A person who, at a place or location other than the site of a particular building or structure to be erected or under construction in the City of Los Angeles, performs work which:

    1. If performed at such construction site would be subject to the inspection requirements of Section 91.1701 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code; or

    2. Is required by a provision of Article I, Chapter IX, of the Los Angeles Municipal Code to be performed by a Type I Fabricator.

  • All welding as per Code Section 91.2204.1, except when performed at the shop of an approved fabricator, shall be done by operators certified by the department for the type of operation involved in accordance with the provisions of Section 91.1705.2.2.1.3. of the Los Angeles Municipal Code.
